War makes certain things clear

I fail to understand how anyone can side with Hamas against Israel without being Hamas supporters, and therefore by definition supporters of the destruction of Israel. Hamas has never tried to hide its genocidal, Islam-inspired intention to destroy Israel and eradicate the Jewish people. They've proudly asserted it.

Here too it is worth noting that an attempt to "avoid escalation," is actually an attempt to preserve Hamas rule over Gaza. That is, an attempt to "avoid escalation" is pro-Hamas position. And again, any pro-Hamas position is an anti-Israel position because Hamas's reason for existing is to destroy Israel and eradicate the Jewish people.

Now, for anyone still unconvinced by reality, or so snowed by the bigoted reporting of all the international media outlets that seek to hide reality rather than report on it, here are a couple of revealing videos.

The first one is about a song written to help Israeli children deal with rocket attacks. The second one is Hamas supporters at Hebrew University in Jerusalem running like rats when their pro-Hamas demonstration was interrupted by an air raid siren warning of a Hamas rocket shot at the Jerusalem area.

Obviously they know who the aggressors are. So the questions arise, why is the international media so confused. And why are they supporting an organization they know is evil?

The International media is NOT confused. They are actively supporting an organization they know is evil because their thinking is so warped as to accept the view that Israel is the greater evil.

They've accepted that view because it allows their denial to continue. It is reality that they deny and the motivation for their denial is moral cowardice.

When faced with danger, reactions boil down to fight or flight. The international media, composed of the liberal left, cannot in the modern world run, so they turn to appeasement as their only hope of dissuading 'the beast'.

An appeaser is someone who betrays others to the 'crocodile' in hope that it will be satiated before it gets to them...

Caroline. You write, "I fail to understand how anyone can side with Hamas against Israel without being Hamas supporters, and therefore by definition supporters of the destruction of Israel.". It makes no sense to most Jews, but perhaps I can offer an interesting example. This year my grandson is studying at a Yeshivah in Jerusalem. It is Orthodox, not Hareidi, but the young men are all Right wing and very supportive of Israel in every way. A good number donated blood to Magen David Adom. In their midst is one young man who is about as Left as one can be and still be fairly rational. It turns out although he is dati his parents really aren't, are very liberal and he went through the brain washing that these parents inflict on their children. No arguments can sway him and not even recent events have changed his way of thinking even one iota. It is a collective hypnosis. Forgotten are the lessons of the Inquisition, the Holocaust and even the pervasive antisemitism we suffered not so many years ago here in the US. Will this change any time soon? Not likely when we cave in to pressure to protect the "poor oppressed Palestinians." What has happened to the Israel of the past? An Israel who was not afraid to fight, an Israel that knew with HaShem on our side we could not lose.

"the bigoted reporting" - We, born and raised in the Soviet Union, have got immunity from propaganda: we had to think for ourselves. The younger generation in the so-called civilised West has been totally brainwashed, gobbling up what's put in front of them and zombi-like repeating the same false mantras. Still, it's difficult to feel sympathy for them. "Clear your mind of cant," said Dr Samuel Johnson; people deserve both their government and their media.

I agree with Naomir and would extend his/her explanation to the leaders of the Israeli government (i.e. all leaders back to 1948) who have similarly exhibited a form of delusional thinking that can reasonably be considered a mental illness. Repeatedly making the same mistake; ignoring empirical evidence in favor of an antiquated, irrational ideology - this is mental illness.

The song for the children is cute. I just wish they would add in "Mi shema'amin lo mefached"!

So the questions arise, why is the international media so confused?

They're not confused. They're Evil.
