Politico has an incredibly disingenuous article up about how Israeli national security "experts" give Obama a higher score on Israel than Romney.
The article is based on a blog post by Shmuel Rosner. Rosner has picked a panel of "experts" whom he apparently asks about various issues from time to time. He gives their answers a score and based on that score he tabulates his results.
Of course, it's not really true that Israeli "experts" score Obama higher than Romney on Israel. Rosner makes up questions, and he picks the "experts" he wants to answer those questions. In this way, he ensures the "score" comes out any way he wants.
Surprise, surprise, the closer we get to the us presidential election, the closer Rosner comes to endorsing Obama for reelection while masking his personal opinion as "expert" opinion.
The questions in Rosner's "survey" are all over the map, and tell us nothing useful.
For instance, Questions like "Romney was practically endorsed by PM Netanyahu - agree or disagree" and "Romney's visit will help him win over Jewish voters - agree or disagree" tell you absolutely nothing about the candidates and whether their policies are good or bad for Israel. All they tell us about is Rosner's personal concerns.
If that wasn't bad enough, most of Rosner's "experts" are leftists. None are on the right -- the ideological space occupied by the majority of Israelis.
What we have here is not an impartial survey. What we have is Rosner creating and stacking the deck to make up fake pro-Obama numbers.
Aside from that, let's think for a second about the nature of the "expertise" of Israeli leftists who always are overrepresented in the rarified world of Israeli "expert" opinion.
Rosner's fake survey is not objectionable merely because it fails to include anyone who occupies the intellectual space in which the majority of Israelis reside. The Left which most of Rosner's "experts" call home is manned by people whose policies have pushed Israel off one strategic cliff after another for the past 20 years. Every single policy endorsed by leftist "experts" over the past generation has failed completely. To refer to these serial bunglers as national security experts is an insult to the intelligence.
But then, again, nothing to be surprised about here. This is what the Left always does. In Israel and abroad, this is how the Left invents perceptions based on thin air. They get together a group of people who represent no one, call them experts, ask their opinion -- in this case on nothing in particular -- and reach a definitive conclusion about something largely unrelated and then crown this stellar achievement with banner headlines. Brilliant.

Yet another Leftist Jew who thinks he has all the answers. The name of the game seems to be stupidity vs common sense and I fear that once again we who proceed with caution will be the losers. Thanks once again Caroline for your courage in the line of fire.
It never ceases to amaze me how often our Village Idiots (e.g. Gideon Levy, Avraham Burg, etc..) are cited as authorities of Israeli opinion.
These people represent mainstream Israel as much as Noam Chomsky represents mainstream America.
Stephen Walt has built up an entire Pantheon of Israeli "experts" that he uses (with increasing desperation) to prop up his "Israel Lobby" rantings.
We are always hearing so much bad news, almost all negative that I thought it might be time for a joke of the day segment.
Here's one to start with.
Joke of the day - The US feels a profound commitment to the defense of Israel...and that is why we are always restraining Israel and arming their enemies.
The left LIES, period.
And it isn't as if they tell little fibs, they really work at it. Their lies are intricate and coordinated with other leftists as well as barefaced and unblinking with smiles on their faces.
All done to achieve political, strategic and personal goals, at the expense of the truth. At the expense of others. At the expense of security, safety and often individual liberties.
They do these things to support their desires, their plans and they see to it that the public remains as ignorant as possible of actual facts because facts are the truth and the truth is their enemy. It is their target. It is their downfall. It is so dangerous to them, that not one fibre can be allowed to exist, if they are to exist. If they are to survive. If they are to dominate and rule.
They are traitors not only to the truth but to human kind because they are the representatives of evil and happily so. Their primary worry is that the population might find out their true purposes and snuff out their lives in the middle off the night. One can hope because they fully deserve it. Harsh words? Their lies have killed children and whole families among the other devastations they have wrought. How much can people be expected to endure from them?

That is the key reason why left-wing Jews oppose Israel as a Jewish State. When it was a leading-edge socialist experiment, it could do no wrong.
Now it is a "failed experiment", an embarrassment and impediment to the international socialist movement. They just want Israel to disappear.
Makes one wonder how much he was paid by the Obama team to lie, maybe he should join the Yale plagiarist, they would make good companions.
With friends like Obama who needs enemas.

There will be no liars in the Kingdom of God which will be set up on this earth after World War III unless those people repent of their sin.
Sin is the trangression of the law.
It is a tremendous advantage to know the truth.
Truth is power.
The truth will set you free.
Some sincere people believe Caroline should get involved in politics.
But Caroline would better serve her people and her nation by continuing to write articles that reveal the truth about what is going on in the world.
