Honor journalists?
It would seem that there are only a few worthy of it, considering the state of the world and their contributions to it's conditions and receding freedoms and liberty, to say nothing of truth or fact.
Caroline, you are one of the very few that I am grateful for because truth and fact are your friends and the world is introduced daily to them by you. Your judgment is clear and based in rationality, free of hate or prejudice.
Wow! Thank you. As a photojournalist, I have always preferred to shoot with long glass precisely for this reason. Sometimes, there is more drama in the wide-angle shot, but one must break into the scene to use a wide-angle dramatically. One must but at the face of the policeman -- as the example shown in the video. And, so then, yes, journalist becomes player. Riot or wedding, subjects always play to the camera if they see it.
Caroline, thank you for posting this. An extraordinary video by an extraordinary young man. This is nothing less than a confirmation of the fact that people's behaviors are determined by the photographer who portrays his subjects to satisfy the public. Depending on the circumstances and the photographers personal politics the results will either be a distortion of the truth or outright lies.
It seems like the Italians are pro-isreal, unlike their Europein counter folks . Way to go!
It is all about the money. These 'participating' photojournalists are selling their souls to create a photofantasy; no more real than the statement that Islam is a religion of peace.
Hey photojournalist: look into the pit of your hurtful art and discover that you are being used. Go to Iran and practice your photofantasy, it will earn you a bullet or a prison sentence and the free people of Israel will be rid of you.
