The Israel Project was the brainchild of a lot of very wealthy Jewish philanthropists who decided rightly, that there was a pressing need for a professional operation in Washington capable of getting out the truth about Israel to a hostile media. Millions upon millions of dollars have been lavished on this project.
And what do we see from this?
According to a report in today's Jerusalem Post, the Israel Project is joining forces with J Street to lobby Congress to continue to fund the Palestinian Authority even after it has abandoned the barest illusion of peacefulness by going to the UN to ask for statehood. The Palestinians want this recognition in order to escalate their diplomatic war against Israel. And the Israel Project is telling Congress that it must maintain the flow of taxpayer dollars to this enemy of Israel.
What a colossal waste of money -by pro-Israel donors and by US taxpayers. What a fraud.

Caroline. It's not just as you say a colossal waste of money and a fraud. It is an assault on the integrity of the Jewish state by the Jewish Left or as I prefer to call them Jew-hating Jews.
We can all do the math. Dollars to PA so they can spend it on their plans to eliminate Isreal. How bad does it have to get? PA is very open about its goals.

The situation is probably even worse in the UK where the main so-called 'Zionist' organisations are now increasingly dominated by people who have no real affinity with Israel nor understanding of the problems it faces. The Jewish Chronicle is funded by the (anti-Israel) New Israel Fund and the United Jewish Israel Appeal is led by a guy who argued that Israel could be viewed as an apartheid state. As a non-Jew supporter of Israel and Mr. Netanyahu, it never ceases to amaze me that the worst enemies of both are not the Palestinians,Hamas or Hezbollah, or even Iran, but Jews themselves.

It is amazing to see how certain Jews are doing so much damage to Israel. I dont know how they sleep at night, mostly I guess overseas and not having lived in Israel under the threat of suicide bombers or rockets from Gaza or Lebanon.
There are plenty of other good causes around the world I wish they would concentrate on those and leave us alone.
