Although most Jewish people are ignorant of the factual history of the situation, most Israeli Jewish people, and some (I think many) non-Israeli Jewish people, are aware of the essential reality of the situation, and they, unlike the Jewish people who are members of J Street, and unlike Jewish people who are like the members of J Street, are not completely deranged with pathological severe Stockholm Syndrome.

J Street calls itself pro-Israel, pro-American and pro-peace. In reality, it is only willing to support a two-state solution to the Israel-Palestine conflict, even though it knows that thousands of Israeli Jews are never going to leave the settlements in East Jerusalem and the West Bank. As J Street doesn’t accept a one-state solution, its existence seems a waste of time and money.

I have been living in Israel for almost 10 years now and I've come to believe that the "Law of Return" should be amended (if not scrapped).

Our Jewish brethren in the "diaspora" are, with few exceptions, a burden on this country.

We are continually being told by them how are self-defense inconveniences their cushy lives in New York, L.A., etc..

Israel should stop seeing itself as a homeland "of the Jewish people" and start seeing itself as a home land "for Israelis".

It's said that only 20% of the Jews in Egypt actually made it out.

The other 80% elected to stay and die.

Nothing has changed and we should not let the 80% drag the 20% down the drain with them.

Please do not despair. I could not agree with you more. J Street must be exposed for what it is, inclusive of it's supporters.

I´m waiting for some article about the situation in Libya... how come AlQaida, Lebanon and even Iran are "together" with UN-Obama coalition against Qaddafi´s regime? Daniel, I agree with you in theory, but I will still stand by my simplistic words. Being a modern Orthodox Jew and a Zionist my entire life I have encountered similar versions of J Street over the years. The reaction has been the same each and every time. The only difference now is that the self hatred has become more virulent.

As far as I am concerned, these people are not real Jews! They have no loyalty whatsoever to their own people or to Israel. They have forfeited their Jewish heritage.

It is sheer HUBRIS of J Street to think that they have enough information to have formed a relevant opinion. Are they too stupid to realize that there is more information that the IDF and Israeli government have not disclosed, than what is available to "outsiders" ... ?
And the attendees interviewed are too clueless to even be ashamed of themselves, or to understand that they don't know what they don't know.

Of all the things Barak Obama has done, and is doing, to purposely destroy America and rebuild it in his image; his hatred of Israel is the most dangerous for our nation.

Economic disasters can be overcome. The consequences of ill-conceived wars can be overcome. Racial polarization can be overcome. A socialist revolution can be overcome---But becoming the enemy of Israel will bring upon this nation the judgment of God, and there is no political remedy for this.
